          The Inspectors of Central Excise forms the largest and a vitally important cadre in the entire system of administration of indirect taxes in the country, is unfortunately also the most deprived in respect of prospects of career advancement.  We are confident that your presence will address the grievances of the largest cadre of the CBEC.
