Appears that this time too, the matter may not reach..

I think, the Association has to deliberate in its meeting at Indore, as to what approach would be better..

My guess is that the department may not do any thing on that.. the only way would be the chennai people to go and file an appeal in the Supreme Court against the stay order... or file a petition in the Kolkatta High Court to seek vacation/modification of the stay order..
By going the happenings over the last few weeks, things are looking gloomy by the day and not any brighter..

Good Luck!

aiceia is showing remarkable obstinacy in not impleading themselves in this case to get the stay vacated, for obvious reasons. It is a known fact that writing letters to Board can only waste paper. The court had passed the stay order on 23rd March. A slighest effort would have paid tangible dividends. It is ofcourse the duty of the politicians to please all. This delayed reaction of aiceia will irrepairable damage in the long run.

Dear comrades,

I would like to inform you all that the Board is indeed moving in a different direction altogether.

Although all the associations were called for discussion (for namesake), literally none of the suggestions have been considered. All have been rejected outright without any remorse as such... which really pains me and i truly believe everyone in the department otherthan the Group 'B' Officers.

Every proposal has been summarised in the Board meeting (of course below the demands of IRS, for which approval has been accorded)dated 12.05.2010. Every single proposal of the associations be it the Superintendents, Inspectors, Ministerial or Group D Officers, has been rejected as such..

They have also stated that the recommendations of the HPC is not linked with cadre review and may be taken up separately..

summing up, all I can say is that it is high time we form a Joint Action committee, as proposed by the SG (Inspectors Association) alongwith the Ministerial Association and fight it out..

It may be too late in the date, if we do not take it up immediately. anybody desirous of knowing the full details of the board meeting may contact Mr.Thomas Mony, the SEcretary General, Ministerial Officers' Association, Pune for details.. He has already given a call on this aspect, the details of which are available on WWW.AICCEMOF.BLOGSPOT.COM.

I wish the Office Bearers, good luck to take some concrete and forward looking decisions in the ensuing Meeting to be held at Indore.

With regards,

In continuation to the above you all may go throug the following.

The proposals considered and the Board's decisions are as under:-

1. HPC report to be considered separately - delinked from cadre restructuring proposal.

2.No creation of Additional posts as suggested by the Associations in DC/AC level may not be functionally justified.

3. Heading of divisions by JC/ADC not acceptable.

4. No separate adjudication units.

5. Promotion to superintendets with one and half time of qualifying service as ACs - not possible.

In light of the above consider this.

1. To request for creation of Principal Chief Commissioner's post.

2. To request for creation of Senior Commissioner post.

3. BOth the above posts not to have control over the existing post of CC and Commissioner respectively.

4. To create one post each of OSD to Chairman and all Board Members.

5. To create additional posts in the entry level of IRS (C & CE) for leave/deputation and training reserve.

6. Abolition of 6906 posts to justify the above creation of posts.

This is the summary of the decisions taken in one of the recent Board Meetings.

All the Members may kindly ponder over these issues..
