Comrades,

The Dharna was successful so far as our organisational structure is concern, most remarkably Patna, Allahabad, Lucknow, Gorakhpur along with other units participated in the Dharna, wherever possible Income-Tax leadership joined our programme and narrated their success for calling a strike on 09-09-09. We have discussed the matter at length with Income-Tax leadership, Customs Leadrship and consulted with Confederation for further course of action. In the mean time Chairman invited us on 15th of September let us see what best our Board can do for the most deprived cadre. We are also attending a National Convention of Confederation on 13th of September. We also like to request our Inspectors' to think over the necessity of calling a strike if our demands are not fulfilled.

Kaushik keep the momentum going and update the news especially the news regarding the Grade Pay. The Admistration has already started deducting amounts on PAO's recommendations.

It is sad that the employees are in agitative mind against the anomolies developed. I personally feel that the adminstration has the primary responsibility to make good all the issues, on proactive basis.

Our efforts in this regard are laudable.

However, it is pertinent to note that for ANY BODY'S SAKE decisions can not be postponed. Now, we have been given an understanding that II Instalment for those officers 'affected' with this issues would not be drawn till resoulution of 'disputes'. I personally feel this decision is correct, but it also clearly speaks the need for urgent resolution.

No employees shall ask for legitimate salary. Much above that no employee should wait to know his legitimate salary. Above all, for that reason he should not be denied or delayed the compensation for unexplained and inexplicable administrative reasons.

I sincerely hope things will be solved.

Please update the blog, because it is the effective way of communcation.

Mohan, Visakha

Dear Archie,
What deduction and what PAO's recommendations you are talking
about ?
Will you explain it in detail?

Unknown said...

Dear Sahlamte,

Thanks for responding immediately. Recently, all the ACP Inspectors (after 1-1-2006)in Visakhapatnam Commissionerates, were issued letters informing that their Grade Pay would be downgraded to Rs.4600/- and the Ist Instalment arrears paid (@Rs.4800/- GP)would be recovered. Also the IInd instalment arrears would be paid @ Rs.4600/-GP.

These are the repurcussion of the down grade of the inspectors Grade pay. yes, in another case the admin section has denied alottment of type-III quarters and allotted it to Sr. TA on the ground that Since the net pay of Sr. T A is More than Inspecotr's pay(new recrutee joining after 01-01-2006) Sr. TA are given preference on allottemnt.

Unknown said...

hi' it very shocking that newly Joined Gr. B Inspectors grade pay is less than a Sr.TA's salary is very shameful.
It is very unfortunate our Board is not keen in resolvig the burning issue of the Inspector which is back bone of the Deptt.
Mr. Koushik pl. update the meeting.

Almost all other the equal cadres whose pay scale was Rs. 6500 earlier, has been upgraded to Rs. 7450/- or 7500/-. Only we are deprived. It is our dignity to get it back. It is more than one year since the pay commission being implemented. I request AICEIA, not to let the matter to cool down and to take some hard action immediately. It is time to act.

4600 Gp is one solution to most of the problems. anything less than will not solve any problem

ARE THE OFFICE BEARERS TESTING THE NERVES OF THE COMRADES? WHY ARE YOU NOT UPDATING THE DETAILS OF THE MEETING WITH THE CHAIRMAN? THIS BLOG IS GETTING MORE HITS THAN THE CBEC WEBSITE OR THE TAXINDIAONLINE SITE THESE DAYS. SO PLEASE TAKE PAINS TO UPDATE IT REGULARLY.
THANK YOU.

The comments of the fellow inspectors like, STA are getting preference in allotment of quarters are etc... are really worrying...
These things can only be solved by up gradation of the GP to 4600...
I request our leadership to update the blog regularly.

Bad news for ACP inspectors, non -functional Grade Pay of Rs. 5400 will not be granted to such of those Grp. B officers who have got the GP of Rs. 4800 on upgradation under ACP scheme. The issue clarified Vide CBEC Circular dated 16.09.2009 issued vide F. No. A-26017/98/2008-Ad.IIA.

looks like aiceia doesn't have anything new to say

personally i feel that cbec, hand in glove with dept of expenditure, is purposely denying our rightful demands.

this is so as to mk us fight for petty demands n keep us busy so that v dont go beyond the discussion of 4600.
from the demands of retrospective effect for parity of cbi scale wef 1.1.1996, v hv been forced to lower our demands to maintain the same level wef 1.1.2006! what a pity of our unity!
