Updates of Delhi Visit during 23rd to
25th May’2018
A delegation of AICEIA comprising of Com.
Rananjay Pratap Singh, President and the undersigned visited CBIC, North Block
and discussed various issues like feasibility of ICT, enactment of new
Recruitment Rules for the post of Superintendent of Central Excise(CGST),
non-conduct of DPCs at various CCAs like Patna, Hyderabad, Vadodara, Kolkata
etc.; allowing the minimum pay to the
promotee inspectors at par with the junior direct recruited inspector and non-implementation
of N R Parmar judgment uniformly in all CCAs with Member(A), CBIC, GOI and
requested him to take immediate steps to address these issues.
The same delegation participated in the 2nd
Anomaly Committee Meeting at North Block, New Delhi. The meeting was chaired by
the Additional Secretary (Revenue) and the representatives of CBIC and CBDT attended
the meeting. Our demand was restoration of historical pay parity of Inspector,
Central Excise with CBI and IB Inspectors that has been perturbed in 7th
CPC. We presented our case with extreme logic and made a submission which is
given below.
Com. Rananjay Pratap Singh made a courtesy
call to Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, Hon’ble MOS (Finance) and requested him to
give appointment to AICEIA for discussing the issues relating to our cadre and
he has been assured for an official appointment very soon.
