NOTICE Date : 11.08.08.
Postponement of the date of the C.E.C meeting at Trichi
In slight modification of our earlier notice I do hereby in the capacity of secretary general in charge like to affirm that the meeting of the Central Executive Committee of the All India Central Excise Inspectors’ Association is rescheduled on 19th and 20th of September instead of 6th & 7th of September, 2008 at Trichy, Tamilnadu.
The meeting is scheduled to commence at 10.00 am. On 19th of September,2008 and it will conclude at 13.00 hrs. of 20th of September,2008.
Note:
1. The reports of each branch/circle on their performances and participation in the calls by the AICEIA, C-O-C and Confederation and details of the accounts of each branch/circle may kindly be sent to the SG in charge by e.mail before 05.09.08 in order to enable incorporation of the same in the report to be presented by the S.G. in charge.
2. Confirmation of attendance along with details of the to and fro journey may be made to N.Venkatakrishnan (9840746290) (email : chennaiceia@rediffmail.com) and to the SG in charge, AICEIA by e-mail and directly to Trichy by the following email: pooram001@yahoo.co.in, trichyceia@rediffmail.com

Can u please inform the Grade Pay for Inspector of C.ex. & Customs, Income Tax. Whether the COS has agreed to fix the Pay Scale of Rs. 7450-275-13000 as recommended for the CBI & that of notional pay fixation as from 1996 onwards as per the earlier CBI Pay Scale i.e. Rs. 6500-250-10000. Further, clarrify whether ACP is effective from the date of joining or from the date of implementation.
