NOTICE FOR THE XVIITH  CONVENTION OF THE

ALL INDIA CENTRAL EXCISE INSPECTORS’ ASSOCIATION

In terms of Article 14 of the Constitution of the AICEIA, Notice is hereby issued for the 17^th All India Convention of the AICEIA to be held at Patna, Bihar on the 16^th and 17^th of December 2012.

AGENDA

1.Presidential Address

2. Placing of minutes of the previous Convention for approval

3. Appointment of Subject Committee

4. Nomination of the Returning Officer for Election

5. Discussion  and adoption of  Report by the Secretary General

6. Approval of Accounts for the period July 2011 to December 2012

7. Election and appointment of new office bearers.

8. Discussion on points received by the Subject Committee

9. Constitution Amendments

10. Any other issue with the permission of the Chair

All units are required to send any fresh membership forms collected by them and current year’s (2012-13) DDO Certificates in respect of the members in their units to the Secretary General AICEIA, by Regd. Post by 15^th November 2012. Any left out forms / certificates may be handed over at the Convention Venue.

All the Branches and Circles have to clear all their unpaid dues to the All India Association by 30^th November 2012. All units must send their audited accounts by 15^th November 2012  to enable  completion of  the AICEIA Accounts before the Convention.

The notified units who are empowered to exercise their voting right as per Chapter 2 Article 12 sub clause 5 of the Constitution are:

The number of votes to each Branch / Circle would depend on the DDO Certificates submitted. Units who have not yet joined the AICEIA may do so at the Convention.  However, they will be allowed to vote only after submission of DDO Certificates confirming the membership and payment of dues.
