Representing the Inspectors of Central Excise throughout the country. (Recognised By The Government Of India, Ministry Of Finance Vide CBEC F.No.B.12017/01/2017-Ad.IV A dated 25.01.2017)
Why only for Insp. to Supdt. but it should be insisted also for Gr.B(Gaz.) to Gr.A,i.e., IRS(C&CE).One and only one uniform length of service should be considered as qualifying service for promotion from all Supdts. of Central Excise, Supdts. of Customs and Appraisers of Customs retrospectively.
sir, it will be good move to remove regional and inter-cadre disparities. however i feel that from the 2003 SSC batch onwards the seniority should be necessarily ALL-INDIA as the exam was on all india basis and the merit list was also on all india basis.
how will be promotions made to the superintendent/appraiser cadre, if a vacancy arises in the shillong commissionerate, will the incumbent at hyderabad be posted to shillong on promotion
It is about to prove a chalanging task to maintain all India seniority of Inspectors. I think it may be helpfull if all India seniority list of all inspectors who have joined before the Inspector of SSC 2003 batch on the date prior to which the first officer of SSC 2003 batch had joined got prepared. after that all officers of 2003 batch should be added in the seniority list. after that officers who got inspector cadre on that year by promotion should be added in the list after 2003 batch. This procedure could be followed for further successive years.
Comred, it will be good to wipe up regional disparities. As the exam is all India basis the seniority list must be all India basis, however, we must pay attention to those inspectors who are on promotion basis and on basis of what (merit or date of joining) they will be included in the seniority list. regards- S Das Bhubaneswar Zone.
Comrades, tentively its regarded to be a good move to resolve the regional disparities. Being the inspectors we must be prepared to come out of our comfort zones & get ready for all india transfers. However, the trafer policy can be considered within 5 zones e.g. east, west, north, south & central and taking back of the officers to their home town can be done prior to 2 years of retirement. Seniority can be fixed applying the line of supdt., for the promotee officers i.e. from the date of issue of promotion orders. I salute all those leaderships who have been taking their initiatives to solve the problems one by one. Solicit all your cooperations to the executive committee, specially the secy. gerneral.
