Information received from reliable sources reveal that there is going to be a 30% cut in Group – A post, from the proposal made by the Board. It is apprehended that the proposal for creation of Audit Commissionerates would be abolished. In the present situation, promotion chances to the entry level of Class – I is going tobe reduced substantially by virtue of which the stagnation in the grade of Superintendent of CEX will remain as such and may further aggravate. Acceptance of present format of CR may cause great loss in the career progression. At this crucial juncture it is imperative to fight together. Hence I earnestly appeal to you to join / support the agitation call given by the Joint Action Committee under CBEC. You are also requested to give suggestions in this matter so that a sustainable fight/agitation could be launched. After the agitation program on 16th March 2012, as per your convenience, you may call a joint meeting with me and other leaders of JAC at any place decide by you for discussion in this matter.

Why don't you people go for in-situ promotion instead of waiting for distribution of peanuts by CBEC in the form of CR. Ask for time bound promotion where I promotion in 10 years and next in 5 years. It will solve the root cause of problem. Make it a simple living for all.
