CIRCULAR
No. 04/12
Dated: 14.5.2012
Dear
Comrades,
Subject: Formation of Circle & Branch committees
at Mumbai zone.
As all are probably aware, since
the initial recognition of AICEIA in December, 2007 there was no formal
committee of AICEIA functioning in Mumbai, though we salute the efforts taken
by our former all India President Shri.K.P.Rao, who ran the Association in
Mumbai those days. Formal committees of AICEIA has virtually
been defunct for a considerable period of time in Mumbai. Despite
the sincere efforts to reconstitute the Mumbai Circle & Branches no concrete results
could be achieved.
2. I have visited Mumbai during November 2009 and May 2011 and personally understood the difficulties being faced by our cadre in
the absence of duly elected committees of the AICEIA in Mumbai.
I have intimated this to Shri. K.P.Rao & Shri. Shishir Agnihotri, former office bearers of Mumbai and requested them to hold an A.G.M latest by 28th of May 2012. As restructuring is on the anvil it is our duty to revive our organizational set up at each and every part of this country.
3. In view of the above and also due to the
keen interest shown by the Inspectors of Mumbai, we are ready to form a new
committee of the AICEIA forthwith in Mumbai. All are requested to come and
join the meeting on time as would be intimated by Shri.Shishir Agnihotri.
Comradely Yours
(
KOUSIK ROY)
To
The
President,
All
office Bearers,
Circle
and Branch Secretaries for wide circulation

Hope everyone is aware of the developments on cadre restructuring, reduction of commissionarates proposed by D.O.P&T shall definitely have an impact on the strength of different cadres. What would be the actual strength after this deduction is not known to anybody not even to Board, nearly 125 proposed posts of commissioers have been reduced, in all probability D.O.P&T had not proposed any reduction in the post of Superintendent or Inspectors and not even for Gr. 'A' entry level posts, whatever information we are collecting all are speculation. On 22nd March D.G. HRD himself gave us a hint that increase of commissionerate may not be possible , this deduces and unfolds another remarkable window which may lead us to removal of regional disparity.
